The Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control (CISEC) is a certification program offered by CISEC, Inc. launched in 2005.  It is the leading certification program of its kind in the U.S.

The online training course covers background information, roles and responsibilities,  best management practices, regulations, compliance, and how to conduct construction site inspections.  Participants will take part in classroom exercises reviewing ESC plans and reports. Upon completion of the training course, participants have the option of writing a four hour certification exam.
