The Canadian Chapter of IECA and TRCA invite students to present a poster project at TRIECA 2020.

Poster Submissions are due before Friday February 7, 2020: apply here.

The student with the top-voted poster will win a complimentary conference pass to TRIECA 2021.

All student poster representatives selected to participate will receive a complimentary IECA student membership.

At TRIECA 2017, Brenden Ding from University of Toronto had top voted poster. He won a free pass to TRIECA 2018, a complimentary one year student membership, as well as publish an article in the prestigious Environmental Connections magazine

Who is Eligible?

In order to submit a poster you must fit one of the following criteria:

Be an

  • Undergraduate student in final year of program OR
  • Post-graduate student in Masters or PhD program

Submitting an Abstract

All interested students are asked to complete the Student Poster submission form before Friday February 7, 2020 and to follow the Abstract Submission Guidelines.

Students will be notified by email by Friday February 14, 2020, at which time additional details will be provided.

Information needed to submit in your abstract consists of:

  • Situation/problem or objective: Clear description of the technical issue and context or reason for work and how it is relevant to the industry
  • Methodology: Detailed description of methods, procedures or testing
  • Results: Sustained finding of resolution or attempt at resolution
  • Lessons learned: Conclusion framed as take-away lessons or stated
