Design of Bioretention Systems now out for Public Review

We are pleased to announce the notice of the second of two new draft Bioretention Standards now posted for Public Review. 
CSA/W200 Design of Bioretention Systems is posted at until May 27, 2018.
This standard will outline requirements and provide guidance on the design of bioretention systems intended for the protection of surface and groundwater quality and for flood mitigation.  Key areas include site criteria, cold climate suitability and design process and system sizing.
Please note another related standard, W201 Construction of Bioretention Systems, will be available for Public Review until April 23, 2018 at .
Important notes

  • All comments must be formally submitted through the CSA Draft Review site (as per the above link) by midnight Eastern time on the closing date.
  • Comments will not be accepted through other formats (e.g., emails, comment sheets) or after the public review closing date.
  • Anyone wishing to submit comments must register for a free account on the CSA Draft Review site.
  • Although editorial comments are welcome, please do not submit comments about spacing or formatting, as this will get a comprehensive review once the document is updated in CSA’s publishing software after public review.
